Denmark x Reader - Of the Sea - part 2Denmark x Reader - Of the Sea - part 2 by ShinkaiShoujo
“Whoa…” she breathed, stepping inside. The guards signaled that she should keep following them as the blonde peeled off from the group, heading down a different corridor.
‘Please don’t leave me…’ [Name] thought in dismay as she watched him go.
It was true, he was a total stranger, but he had helped her. Saved her. Tried to make her feel comfortable. She truly appreciated that.
The group walked on for several more minutes until they reached the throne room.
“Ah~! So this is the one you fished out of the sea~!” An obnoxious voice boomed.
Another blonde with amber eyes and a cheeky grin beckoned to her from the throne.
"Come closer, dear. Let me get a better look at you."
One of the soldiers nudged her forward and she frowned, but begrudgingly ventured closer to the grand golden thrown and the man who was undoubtedly the king that was seated upon it.
Beside the throne and a bit behind it, stood the same blue-eyed man from before who

That was the first thing [Name] saw when she awoke.
That, and a man.
A handsome man with spiked blonde hair and a strong jaw.
And his eyes…They were bluer than the sea, bluer than the tides that tugged at her feet.
“Miss! Miss, are you alright?” He sounded concerned.
She continued to gaze at him for a few more moments before she realized she hadn’t answered him.
He helped her into a sitting position and she realized that she had been lying on a beach, rather close to the shore.
How had she gotten here again?
It was all a fuzzy blur that faded faster the more her mind awoke.
“Here, let’s get you back to the castle.”
The blonde stranger said gently, helping [Name] to her feet. Her bare feet scrabbled slightly in the sand but he helped to steady her.
The man was quite a bit taller than she was and he wore armor with a large battle ax strapped to a belt that stretched across his back.
Looking around, the [h/c]-haired girl realized that th
Selkie!Canada x Reader - Up From the Deep IntroIn Scotland, there are stories told of a creature known as a selkie, a being similar to a mermaid except that they can assume the form of a seal by wearing a seal skin.Selkie!Canada x Reader - Up From the Deep Intro by ShinkaiShoujo
The legends that are often circulated are of female selkies who shed their skins to walk on the land, only to have them snatched away by a young man who takes the selkie as his wife, leaving her heartbroken and pining for the watery depths.
However, though they are rarely discussed, male selkies exist as well.
Perhaps they are not mentioned out of fear.
Fear of what would happen if they were to surface.
Male selkies are a different story, versus their female counterparts.
When faced with a young woman that catches their fancy, the male selkie does his best to convince her to join him in his life beneath the sea as his wife and mate for life.
This is the cause of many disappearances of young women who go out for a walk along the beach and never return.
I sighed and glanced at the scrap of paper in my hand as I drove

"Oh...Matthew, love. You've got a bit of frosting on your face."
"O-oh! I do? Heh, sorry...."
The shy Canadian blushed a bit in slight embarrassment causing his girlfriend to giggle.
"Don't worry, Mattie. I'll get it~"
Smiling, the [h/c]-haired girl leaned in, causing the blonde to blush more furiously.
Pressing her feather soft lips to his cheek, she kissed him lightly and smiled at him.
He returned the gesture, only more weakly and did his best to hide his nervousness and the loud, unceasing pounding of his heart.
Sighing, he crumpled up the wrapper, cleaning the remnants of his maple cupcake from the cute little table.
The warm and cozy atmosphere of the cafe only added to the romantic mood, making Matthew even more antsy.
He had been dating [name], the love of his life, for several years now and had decided that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
In his eyes, she was perfect in every way.
The happy couple made their way down the lamp-lit street, arms li

an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm.
The word rang around your head like a catchy melody and you tried with all your efforts to shoo it away, there was no need to dwell on the fact that, yes, you were scared, but thinking about it would only bring what would be described as the sensation of helplessness shortly followed by your body failing to respond to your mind. It has happened before, anyone who has seen what you've had, what your fellow companions have, would clearly understand. You've had your doubts before as many other people you know have had.
Was joining the Survey Corps really a good idea? You could've hidden behind Wall Sina just like one of your childhood friends, lived a pretty good life and certainly not risking it out here, not watching as another expedition outside the walls took a sour turn, as it always did, and certainly

“Keep the thermometer under your tongue, _____.”
_____ grimaced, using her teeth to maneuver the thermometer in her mouth underneath her tongue. “I really don’t think I’m that sick, Levi—”
“And don’t talk with it in your mouth,” the short man interrupted. After a minute or so, he extracted the thermometer from _____’s mouth and looked at the temperature. “Tch,” he hissed in disapproval. “Thirty-nine on the dot.”
“Seriously?” _____ groaned, falling onto her bed and glaring at the ceiling. “I don’t even feel that bad. This should be illegal!”
“Well, you’re sick whether you can feel it or not.” Levi left the room to wash and put away the thermometer. He returned a few moments later carrying a tray with a glass of ice water, a washcloth, and a bowl of water sitting on it. He set down the tray on _____’s nightstand before dipping the washcloth into
